Violations of Human Rights: Zambia Reject Bush's Capture

Zambia refused Amnesty International calls for arrest of former George W. Bush during the U.S. President's visit to the country this week. Bush and his family visited several African countries to campaign about cancer.

When Bush and his wife and children to leave Zambia on Saturday (03/12/2011) yesterday, local media directly quoted Foreign Minister of Zambia Chishimba Kambwili, that only the International Criminal Court could call for the arrest of a person on an international level.

A few days ago, Amnesty International human rights organizations called on the government of Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Zambia to arrest Bush, who was accused as a violator of human rights by allowing the use of torture in interrogation techniques, like waterboarding.
